First day on the job

Today is my first full day on the job, and I'm starting to learn about some of the initiatives I will be involved with. A big review is coming up with the people from NSF next week. I have to travel to St. Thomas to attend that meeting and report on what we've been doing and what we would like to do to help support the research of the science faculty. I'll also be heavily involved with evening reference duties, which I don't mind at this point. I'd just as soon stay here in the lovely air conditioning as much as I can. :-) In addition to teaching BI classes, I'll also be doing a lot of collection development with the Title III money we got. Busy, busy, busy!
